What is the TSTA Student Program?


Angelo State University's new student chapter! Student members will learn more about entering the education field, form a network with TSTA members in San Angelo who can mentor them as they become teachers, engage in service projects, hear speakers, and have a voice in Texas education!
Who is eligible?:
All undergraduate students currently taking education courses, or has taken an education course, and is planning to enter the education field. Students must have a 2.5 GPA.
Join Us!
Come join us on Tuesday, September 13th at 5:30 p.m. Meet current ASU chapter members and learn more about the organization. We will meet in Carr 128, and Dr. Carol Ann Bonds, Superintendent of SAISD, will be our speaker.

How do I Join?
1. Dues are $35, including NEA membership, state TSTA membership, and campus chapter affiliation. This covers your membership from September 1st-August 31st.
2. An enrollment card must be filled out (found at TSTA bulletin board or outside of Carr 125) to accompany dues.
Make checks payable to ASU TSTA-SP. See Dr. Williamson in Carr 125, Dr. Donna Gee in Carr 115, or the following officers to join:
