Folks, I am look for a couple of distinguished undergraduate or graduate student to work with me on a year-long research project supported by the Carr Student Research Scholarship program. Together we will be required to develop a research proposal. The deadline for students to submit the proposal is March 5, 2010. You must be enrolled as a full-time student; undergraduate students must have completed at least 72 sch by the end of the semester in which they apply with a cumulative gpa of 3.0, while graduate students must have had a cumulative gpa of at least a 3.0 in their last 30 hours as an undergraduate student and at least a 3.5 gpa as a graduate student. A more complete listing of eligibility requirements is found in the Guidelines.
Undergraduate students receive $2000 for the 2010-2011 academic year (no extensions allowed) and graduate students receive $3000 for the 2010-2011 academic year (no extensions). Itemized research related expenses up to $300 for undergraduate and $500 for graduate students are available during the award academic year (may not be carried forward). Twelve scholarships are available for undergraduate students and four scholarships are available for graduate students. Faculty may supervise a maximum of two students in a given year. Both qualitative and quantitative research projects are eligible for consideration.
If you are interested or have any questions feel free to contact me.

Please excuse what appears to be obvious errors in my email. Unfortunately my learning disability affects my ability to detect what appears to most individuals as simple errors in writing. Even though I used a spell and grammar checker, some mistakes will still get overlooked.
