All,
As far as anyone knows we are still expected to dig the weekend of November 
1st, but Dr. Fields is not doing well and not expected to be around much 
longer. He continues in hospice care in Ft. Worth with his family all there 
with him. I sent a card on behalf of PBSS and "his" diggers.

Doc Fields is truly a character and a very knowledgeable, often charming and 
always hospitable man. I will keep everyone posted as I receive updates and 
if arrangements include something in Sonora I will give everyone as much 
notice as possible.

Unless (I doubt it very much) the dig is postponed, I would really like to 
see a good showing, move a lot of dirt, maybe have enough people to take 
some rocks out uphill where there seems to be a void, and hopefully get 
somewhere.
