All,
I've received the following request from the NSS. If you have ever 
complained about the NSS or thought it was misguided or headed in the wrong 
direction (and you are an NSS member) this one's for you:

The NSS Planning Committee is searching for prospective
members. The Planning Committee is charged with developing and updating
the NSS strategic plan; a roadmap for the future course of the
organization. Potential committee members should be willing to devote
2-5 hours per week to committee activity, primarily conducted over an
internet-based discussion group, and have some sort of experience with
group collaboration and planning. If you know of a qualified prospective
member, please pass this along or recommend them to the committee chair:
