Subject: New! Experiential Learning Graduation Cords – Please Share with Graduates

Hello,
As we approach graduation, we are excited to launch a new recognition initiative through the Center for Career and Professional Success to celebrate our students’ commitment to experiential learning!
For the first time, Angelo State University will award a gold and white graduation cord to seniors who have completed meaningful hands-on learning experiences as part of their academic journey. This includes:

  *   Practicum
  *   Internship
  *   Field Experience (structured, supervised learning outside the classroom where students apply academic knowledge in a real‑world setting as part of their program)
  *   Clinical Experience (structured, supervised, hands-on training—typically in a healthcare or applied setting—where students provide or support services as part of required program hours)

These experiences are a direct reflection of the work happening across our academic programs, and we are proud to partner with you in recognizing students who have taken this important step toward career readiness.
We would greatly appreciate your help in sharing the message below with any graduates in your department who may be eligible.
