[Betaalphapsi] Presidential Election - Time Sensitive - Please Read!

Members,

The start of the fall is fast approaching and while I'm a little sad to leave summer behind, I look forward to being back on campus with you all! As you know from my email a few weeks ago, we need a President for Beta Alpha Psi. I'm delighted that two well qualified individuals, Tai Dao and Pierce Stephens, have expressed interest in the position.

As such, we need to have an election as soon as possible so we can start the fall semester strong recruiting members and holding meetings. Due to folks returning to campus at various times before the start of classes on the 26th, I believe it will be best to hold a virtual meeting. You should have received a calendar invite to a WebEx meeting for this coming Tuesday, August 20th at 6:30 p.m.  If you are available, please join the meeting. Both Tai and Pierce will share a little about themselves and why they want to be President of Beta Alpha Psi. It should be a fairly quick meeting. The meeting will be recorded; therefore, even if you are unable to attend, you should still watch it so you can make an informed decision when you vote.

Voting will open immediately following the meeting and will close on Wednesday, August 21st at 11:59 p.m. Because we don't have a President yet, old granny (i.e., me) will be taking votes via email (I do not comprehend Google anything, so no cute online forms or surveys here). To ensure there's no funny business (I would never, but we need controls in place regardless), please email me your vote and copy our VP of Records, Savannah Price, SPrice16 at angelo.edu<mailto:SPrice16 at angelo.edu> AFTER the meeting. Do NOT vote before the meeting and do not email everyone. Only email me and Savannah.
