Her paper, “’A Strange Sympathy’: The Rhetoric of Emotion in <i>The History of the Nun; or, The Fair Vow-Breaker</i>” was chosen due to its sophisticated reading, well articulated argument, intelligent relationship secondary resources, and originality of thought.
