Good morning one and all. For professional and personal reasons, one of the panel on teaching 18th century women writers has had to withdraw. I am therefore looking for a replacement. If you have not had a paper accepted at the conference, now is your chance. Papers can be in any discipline (do you use women writers as cultural texts in a history class? do you incorporate images of female writers in an art history class? do you include the writing of women writers in gender studies classes?) and should be very specific: the design of a class, a particular assignment, or the introduction of a particular genre or figure.
The conference, which is ABS's biannual meeting, will be at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, October 27-29.
Please reply directly to this email.
best wishes, Martha
